Parents’ Day

Parents’ Day is the apt time to show appreciation towards parents for their commitment and sacrifice towards bringing up their children in a safe environment and nurturing their lives. We @ VELS honoured all mothers and fathers & celebrated the values that bind families from one generation to the next.

E-Polling @VELS

Leadership is integral to life-long learning. We believe that students need opportunities to flourish and reach their full potential academically, socially and emotionally. Providing opportunities for students to learn leadership skills and lead key initiatives across the school, which are student driven, are critical skillsets to learn and develop in their senior years of schooling

International Yoga Day

The theme for this year’s Yoga Day 2021 is ‘Yoga for Well- Being‘.
During this pandemic we have assured that our students don’t be stressed and practise healthy body habits by practising yoga..

Father's Day Celebration

A father’s selfless love is pivotal in nurturing and there could not be a more universal celebration than the one that celebrates the accomplishments & efforts of a father.

Kindergarten children celebrated Father’s Day on 14th June and were given an opportunity to make their Dad feel by making beautiful cards and expressing their love towards them

Colour Week Celebration

Colour plays a vitally important role in the world in which we live. Colour can sway thinking, change actions, and cause reactions. To bring the positivity, colour week was celebrated by little Velians with great enthusiasm.

Colour day was an amazing learning experience that had a long – lasting effect on every student.

Thank you sense organs week

The five main tools that humans use to perceive the world in which they live are sight, smell, hearing, taste and touch… To show our gratitude to our sense organs we celebrated “THANK YOU SENSE ORGANS WEEK”.

Mango Day Celebration

To celebrate and relish the taste of the King of Fruits, Mango, little Velians celebrated ‘Mango Day’ on 22nd July .

The day aimed at providing experiential learning to students. Teachers gave them information about the different varieties of mango, their nutritional benefits and the products made from them. The students also relished different varieties of mangoes and drank mango shake. They enjoyed different activities like bit paper pasting, identifying vowels from the word mango, and pattern making. It was an informative and fun filled day for all the students
