Dr. Ishari K Ganesh

Vels Vidyashram took its humble birth in 1998 with excellence as its watchword in all aspects. The chairman established this with the help of Dr. Mrs. Y.G. Parthasarathy, Dean and Director PSBB group of schools.

This is the first CBSE school in the country to launch the international curriculum - CBSEi in the academic year 2013 - 14. Now it has launched a new unit Vels Vidyashram at thalambur in the academic year 2014 - 15. The school provides a global platform.

The school at Pallavaram, Chennai mainly caters to the Educational needs of the suburb and is now trying to have a growth of meaningful nature synonymous with the new global order by being flexible and adaptable to the current day changes.

Vels Vidyashram is the recipient of the Prestigious INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AWARD of the British Council for two consecutive terms (2007 - 2010) & (2011 - 2014). It is also the recipient of the ISO 9001:2008 Certification by GIC, London (2009-2012).
